BC Lietkabelis is preparing for the LKL semifinals against Kaunas Žalgiris, after defeating Utena Uniclub Casino – Juventus in three games during the quarterfinals. Džordže Gagičius, one of Lietkabelis' leaders, emphasizes that Žalgiris is a EuroLeague-level team, and their tough season does not mean an easy battle awaits. "Žalgiris" will show its quality despite having difficulties and having changed three coaches already.

Gagičius states that the strength of their team lies in unity and collaboration, which has allowed them to achieve success throughout the season. He emphasizes that the team prepares for the semifinals just like they would against any other good team, whether it be Uniclub Casino – Juventus, Bologna Virtus, or another opponent.
Speaking about the quarterfinal series, Dž. Gagičius noted that the Utena team is strong, with experienced players, and it was not easy for them. However, Lietkabelis managed to maintain focus and look only at the upcoming match. He also pointed out that Žalgiris reached the semifinals after five tough games against Neptūnas, but this did not surprise him, as the game is played 5-on-5.
Dž. Gagičius did not reveal tactical details before the game but emphasized that Lietkabelis has advantages that could help them achieve victory. The team is ready and knows that a tough battle awaits against Žalgiris in the LKL semifinals.
